How the competition works

All entries are published on our website. The platform then allows members of the public to cast a vote for any participant that they’ll like to win. Both participants and voters must follow us on either Instagram or TikTok for their registration and votes to be valid.

Application Closing Date: 15 December 2024
Competition Closing Date: 30 December 2024

Rules

General: Write a full song between 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes long.
Genre: Afrobeats

Lyrics requirement:

• General theme should be about love
• Promote black unity
• Promote standing up for what’s right
• Promote black empowerment
• Promote natural black beauty
• Promote giving back to the community
• Mention Nyeungana (Name of the vision)
• Mention the charity Nyeusi ^TM (Name of the charity)
• Not contain any swear words

What to submit:

The submission should be a video footage of the artist performing the full song.

Artist: How to sign up for the competition

• To submit an entry the participants have to post the entry on social media (TikTok or Instagram).
• Then fill out our application form here.
• Entries are only accepted if the participants are following us on social media, and the entry includes the use of the following hashtags: #GiveBlackDecember, #Nyeusi, #Nyeungana
• Entries can be made on either TikTok or Instagram.
